Sorry I missed the last gig at the Picturedrome.
Take a well deserved Christmas break and get ready for 2012.
With the Olympics on the horizon, this could be your 'Gold' year. You deserve it!! J D

Great to catch up with Andy in sunny Cyprus and to
listen to 2 'new' CDs to us after 8 years here. Really
enjoyed both the Gathering and Make a Wish. Maybe
one day we can see you here in the Med

Great gig last night at Wootton Club. Celtic, sea
shanties and rock n roll in one session who could ask
for more!

Thank you so much for your support for Help for Heroes at the Merry Tom Folk Festival. The collection we did whilst you performed raised a fantastic £241.45.

Thank you to everyone who donated and thank you to The Angels Share for your support.xx

Gig in the Garden - just the best..... sore feet for days from dancing. Well done all the lads and Steve and Liz for organising. A great day only made better by TAS....

At long last we managed to coordinate diaries and get the boys to play at 'Gig in the Garden #5' in Spratton. They were on fire and the whole place was rocking (or its Celtic equivalent). Despite a surfeit of 'Wainwrights' I managed to remember the chorus to The Fields of Athernry and dance at the same time.
To top it all the boys waived the appearance fee to maximise our fund raising for Leukaemia Research and CiCRA. All told we raised just over £1100, much of which was probably due to people buying drink to overcome dehydration brought upon by the band!
A brilliant evening!
Thank you

Liz & Steve

As always guys, your were fantastic! Unfortunately my favorite the "Fields of Athenry" was marred by the compulsary cleaning of the toilets. From Port Isaac to Brixworth you resound across the country. I can only say a big thank you. I love you all. Merry Tom would not have been the same without you. You were as with The Fishermans Friends a fantastic complimenting band to Mad Dog Mcrea.

What better way to remember the Angel Share' at the Port
Isaac Musical Festival than to be playing your CD and
through the door comes my partner, Cindy - "River
Dancing" - something she had just learnt to do on YOU
TUBE - inspired by the "Angel Shares' Women" the night
before......a Magical Moment!

TRUE FANS NOW...xxxx

Well as organiser of the Port Isaac Music Festival I am
privileged to have had the Angels Share play Sunday
night. Celtic music with attitude, you were great, got the
whole room up and dancing and from the response of the
crowd everyone felt the same. You were key to a fantastic
night. Thank you very much and hopefully in two years
you'll come down and grace our stage again. Hope to see
you at the Merrytom festival on the 8th and 9th of July.

A fantastic music festival, but, for me, it was TAS who gave it the WOW factor. Good luck, lads, may your fame reach higher levels....and the girls dancing was great, too.!

Just to say a really big thankyou to you guys for making a really great weekend down at Port Isaac.
For all those that couldn't make it!! well you missed a sensational weekend.
Along with one of the best TAS performances, were Flats and Sharps and The Crowns, both gallant adversaries who noticably suffered from the lack of years of experience to be true competant rivals.
I look forward to seeing you again at Merry Tom.

Sorry i didn't send this earlier but went on
honeymoon straight away after the wedding, i
would just like to say the band were AMAZING.
Everyone at the wedding loved them especially
me, it flowed excellently from Gary to the Irish
and all my family (who are Irish) thought the band
were great.

Please send this info on to the band members and
say a big thanks from me and Laura. I will highly
recommend them in future.

Thank you for an amazing afternoon at
Nutstock. Never thought I'd find a band I enjoyed as much as Runrig - but here you are on my own doorstep! And with your own unique and very special style. Can't wait to see you guys again. Well done to all of you. Entertainment at its best.

Thought you would like to know that you have now had more than 600 views on MySpace with almost 100 plays of your tracks in less than one month. May not seem much but at least you are getting heard by a wider audience. Really upset that you seem to have most of your gigs while I am holiday. Hope to see you soon. M

Guys.
As the parents of a soldier who is nearing the end of his tour in Afghanistan, (you know who he is), can I just say a huge thank you for the support you gave to Help For Heroes. I know there is more in the pipeline and your generosity is heart warming.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank The Angels Share for their contribution to my party on Saturday night. We have seen the band perform many times and know just how good they are. Indeed we have never had a less than brilliant night at one of their gigs, but to be able to share that pleasure with all my friends and family was a great treat and very much appreciated. I do hope you enjoyed the dance performance of Riverdance as much as I - some of those men hold very responsible jobs in the community!

The feedback has been amazing. Originating from the north east of our green and pleasant land, several guests had travelled over two hundred miles to be with us and many believed that the trip would have been worth it - just for the band!

There were several skilled musicians in the room, themselves playing in orchestras, bands and one or two piano teachers, so they are not easily impressed.... they loved you.

A big thank you for making my night so very special and brining a great deal of pleasure to all those I love most.

(The above is taken from a letter written to the band by Bev after her birthday party on the 16th January 2010)

Kate

Had the best night at The BBC for Bev's party yesterday - cannot remember a night when I danced so much and saw so many people having a great time - you guys are awesome! However, I do now have a very sore sprained ankle after highland flinging in 5 inch platforms!!! It was worth it -what a fab night, thanks xxx
